Frequently asked questions
How do I play?
Tap a tube to select it, then tap another tube to pour. You can pour only if the destination tube is empty or its top color matches the color you are pouring. The goal is to fill every tube with a single color, or leave it empty.
How are stars calculated?
Each level has an optimal move count, called par. You earn three stars if you finish in par or fewer moves, two stars if you finish within 1.5 times par, and one star otherwise.
Is my progress saved?
Yes. Your unlocked levels and best star ratings are stored locally on your device. Deleting the app also deletes this progress. There is no cloud save and no account.
Do I need an internet connection or an account?
No. RainbowTube is fully offline. It does not require an account, login, or network connection.
Are there ads or in-app purchases?
No. RainbowTube has no ads, no in-app purchases, and no subscriptions.
A level seems impossible. What should I do?
Every level is verified to be solvable. Use Undo or Restart from the game screen. If you believe a level is stuck, email us with the level number and a screenshot.
Which devices are supported?
RainbowTube requires an iPhone running iOS 15 or later. It is designed for portrait orientation.
